Centrum pre deti a rodiny Komárno (Centre for Children and Families of Komárno) (hereinafter referred to as the Centre) takes actions related to the residence of children by an agreement with a parent or person taking care of a child personally, request of a child, resolution by a court ordering institutional care, provisional remedy and educational actions, and for physical persons of age being young adults, upon termination of any residence actions by the court when such children become adults.

Furthermore, in accordance with Article 59 of Act 305/2005 of the Colleciton of Laws, the Centre takes actions related to social and legal protection of children and social custody using in-house or field work following the approved programme of the Centre.
